本剧讲述了三个毫无关联的人，渐渐意识到他们都做着同一个梦的不同部分。他们每一个人都有一个神秘不可告人的个人追求：一个在寻找找到他失踪的女友，一个在寻找一个走失的孩子，一个希望为他患有精神疾病的母亲寻找治愈方法；而他们做的梦所代表的集体意识将会给他们线索指引他们。但是随着他们在梦境中越走越深，他们发现他们身上的任务远比他们以为的更加深重，他们通过梦境看到的视野将是拯救世界命运的钥匙。
