体育记者西胁哲朗（桐谷健太）与大学时代所属美式橄榄球部经理的理沙子（国仲凉子）结了婚，但是夫妻感情不和。某天，哲朗与早田幸弘（大谷亮平）、须贝诚（和田正人）等男性队友开完同学会回家的路上，哲朗与须贝两人偷偷潜入大学操场，遇到了曾任橄榄球部经理的日浦美月（中谷美纪）。 浑身散发着不同寻常的气氛的美月说出了令人震惊的话语——“我杀了人”。其后在哲朗家中，美月对哲朗、须贝和理沙子坦白自己患有性别认同障碍。而且以男性身份在夜总会担任调酒师的美月在人迹罕至处杀死了纠缠女招待佐伯香里（中村安妮）的客人。 一开始哲朗等人哑口无言，但加上原属橄榄球部队员且曾经是美月前男友的中尾功辅（铃木浩介），他们决定要保护美月。不久，美月失踪了。哲朗在寻找美月的过程中，接连面临充满苦恼的事实。
