Birdy The Mighty erzählt von genau so einer Begegnung und zwar zwischen dem Schüler Tsutomu und der außerirdischen Agentin Birdy. Bei einem ihrer Einsätze gerät Tsutomu zufällig in einen Schusswechsel und kann nur dadurch gerettet werden, dass Birdy sich ihren Körper mit ihm teilt. Fortan gehen die beiden gemeinsam auf Alienjagd und durch den Alltag und das kann nicht nur actionreich, sondern auch ganz lustig werden.
