Ray Drecker es un cuarentón que ve cómo su vida se desmorona: su mujer le ha abandonado por un tipo repelente, dejándole a cargo de sus hijos y para colmo, su casa acaba de incendiarse y no dispone del dinero suficiente para pagar las reparaciones. Pero algo cambia en la vida de Ray tras el reencuentro con Tanya, un antiguo ligue. En un último intento por cambiar su suerte, y persuadido por su amiga, Ray decidirá ganarse un sueldo extra utilizando lo que considera su 'mayor talento': su pene, de grandes dimensiones, le abrirá las puertas para convertirse en 'chico de compañía' con la ayuda de Tanya que actuará de improvisada proxeneta.
