"La Tierra: conflicto final" nos sitúa en pleno siglo XXI, tres años después del primer contacto con una raza extraterrestre, los Taelons. Su llegada ha supuesto para la Tierra un gran avance, el fin del hambre, las guerras y de muchas enfermedades. Los Taelons parecen desear únicamente compartir sus conocimientos y enriquecerse con su convivencia en paz con la raza humana. Desean ser compañeros que ayuden a la humanidad a dar un importante paso. Consideran que la Tierra se encuentra en una encrucijada evolutiva y que para la especie humana ha llegado un momento crucial en el que deben dar el siguiente paso hacia fronteras inciertas. Sin embargo hay gente que no confía en los Taelons, también conocidos como compañeros, y, secretamente, conspira para descubrir cuales son sus verdaderos propósitos.

Renee and Raleigh have some good hot-tempered banter as they try to outwit each other, while Sandoval arrives to complicate things further.
