XIII es una serie basada en los libros de historietas de Jean Van Hamme. Conocido solo por la numeración Romana que le asignaron, XIII (Stuart Townsend), es un hábil y letal agente secreto que escapó de Europa del Este. Su cara ha sido modificada quirúrgicamente y su identidad ha sido obtenida a través de un misterioso extraño. Reclutado por una oscura organización secreta que intenta acabar con el gobierno de los Estados Unidos, XIII no recuerda nada de su pasado, de cómo fue entrenado o de para qué.
