Dinosaurios es una serie ambientada en el 60.000.003 aC. que muestra a una familia similar a los Los Simpson (padres, tres hijos y abuela). Los miembros de la familia son dinosaurios representados con características humanas, (viven con televisión, electrodomésticos, hablan, etc.), por lo que se califica como una parodia de nuestra sociedad. La madre es ama de casa, los hijos estudiantes (a excepción del más pequeño) y el padre trabaja como obrero en un bosque.
