'NCIS: New Orleans' se trata del 'spin-off' de la serie de 'Navy: Investigación criminal' y se centra en cuatro personajes principales: El agente Pride tiene 50 años y se describe como un hombre carismático y lleno de vida, sin embargo es muy terco y directo; el agente Lasalle es tiene 30 años y es musculoso, diabólico y encantador a la vez, nació y creció en Luisiana y fue ayudante del sheriff; la agente Brody es imprevisible, divertida y feroz, tiene 30 años y cuenta con una mente incréible y una clase como la de Grace Kelly; y por último la Dr. Wade, una chica excéntrica y carente de límites sociales.
