¡Llegó la hora! Acompaña a Kión, segundo cachorro de Simba y Nala, se convierte en líder de la Guardia del León congregando a los mejores y más listos para ayudarle a mantener intacto el Ciclo de la Vida. Kión reúne, no, a un equipo de leones, como dicta la tradición, sino a su propia Guardia del León, que se compone de Bunga, el más valiente, Fuli la más rápida, Beshte el más fuerte, y Ono, el de la vista más aguda. Pero el propio Kión deberá aprender el poder de su rugido antes de que una verdadera y duradera paz pueda reinar en las Tierras del Reino.
