Сержант полиции Джим Бержерак — возвращается на дождливый остров Джерси, населенный самовлюбленными миллионерами и коррумпированными чиновниками. Ему пришлось пережить непростой развод, следствием чего стала его алкогольная зависимость. Чтобы справиться с навалившимися трудностями, Джиму необходимо было некоторое время побыть вдали от родных мест. Bergerac later awakes where a rational explanation is given for what occurred by a recovered Charlie.
