Сержант полиции Джим Бержерак — возвращается на дождливый остров Джерси, населенный самовлюбленными миллионерами и коррумпированными чиновниками. Ему пришлось пережить непростой развод, следствием чего стала его алкогольная зависимость. However in a rather confusing climax as she and Bergerac finally complete the excavation only to be attacked by the same unseen force. Bergerac later awakes where a rational explanation is given for what occurred by a recovered Charlie.
