Главные герои сериала пёс Скуби и щенок Скрэппи через 10 лет вместе появляются на экранах. До этого Скуби был уже популярным в сериале «Скуби-Ду, где же ты?». Героев в основном четверо: закадычные друзья Скуби и Шегги, племянник Скуби Скрэппи и какое-нибудь чудище. Смысл мультсериала заключается в том, что когда приходит чудище, Скуби и Шегги пытаются спасаться бегством, просто этого им не даёт Скрэппи. Его тянет подраться, но он такой маленький и беспомощный, что Скуби и Шегги приходится спасать не только самих себя, но и непутёвого щенка.
