Телесериал про частного детектива Томаса Салливана Магнума. Том Магнум — ветеран Вьетнама, проходивший службу в морской разведке. Вернувшись с войны, он по просьбе некоего писателя-миллионера Робина Мастерса, поселяется в его роскошном поместье на Гавайских островах.
