Сериал повествует о безымянном британском агенте, который только что уволился и вдруг оказался в «Деревне», изолированной от мира горами и морем. Деревня прямо таки напичкана системами наблюдения и защитными полями, также там есть мистическое устройство под называемое "Ровер", которое ловит всех, кто пытается сбежать.
Деревня населена сотнями людей из разных культур и слоёв общества. Кажется, что каждый спокойно живет своей жизнью. У всех жителей номера вместо имён, они не помнят ничего о своей прошлой жизни. Главного героя все называют «Шестой». Не зная кому доверять, «Шестой» пытается узнать правду об этом загадочном месте, выяснить причину своего появления в «Деревне» и самое главное — найти способ сбежать отсюда.
