The anime Saint Seiya follows five young warriors, the Bronze Saints, led by Seiya of Pegasus, who are dedicated to protecting the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Athena, Saori Kido. The series' main conflicts revolve around their battles against deities who seek to conquer Earth. The first major arc sees them fighting through the twelve temples of the Zodiac at the Sanctuary to save a gravely wounded Athena from a corrupt Pope. They then face the sea god Poseidon and his Marina Generals to prevent him from flooding the world. The final battle is against the god of the Underworld, Hades, to save all of humanity. Powered by spiritual energy called Cosmo and wearing armors linked to their constellations, the Saints are the last line of defense against the gods.

"Revive! Legendary Hero" (Episode 1)

Overview: Seiya was able to defeat Cassios in a battle for the Pegasus Cloth. After achieving that, Seiya is being chased by Shaina's henchmen and Shaina herself. Marin sensed that which she and Seiya are running away from them, but Shaina finds them which Shaina and Seiya are fighting each other. Due that Seiya does not want to attack a women, he defeated Shaina's henchmen instead, which that Shaina tells Seiya that she will wear her cloth and one day they will having a battle again, but Seiya hopes that will never happen. The next day, he is heading to go back to Japan with his Pegasus Cloth.

Overview: Saori calls upon the Cygnus Saint, Hyoga, to attend the Galaxian wars tournament. He bids his mother and homeland of Siberia farewell. Phoenix proceeds to be unreachable to summons.
Dragon! Unrivaled Fist and Shield (Episode 4)

Overview: Seiya faces Shiryu the second round and nearly tastes defeat.
Miracle of Rebirth! Friendship of the Cosmos (Episode 5)
Air date: 1986-11-15
Overview: No longer protected by their cloths, Shiryu is sure that victory is his, but Seiya is more intuitive than that.
Phoenix! The Warrior who saw Hell (Episode 6)

Overview: Shun and Jabu are pitted against one another. Shun's chain warns them of a nearby enemy.
It is Stolen! The Gold Cloth (Episode 7)

Overview: Ikki wreaks havoc upon the tournament. Barraging Shun, defeating Jabu and Nachi. He is a threat to every saint but himself.
