Get Real (Season 1)

Get Real was a short-lived comedy-drama on the FOX Network centering on the fictional Green family of Los Angeles. It ran from September 1999 to April 2000. It starred Eric Christian Olsen and Anne Hathaway in very early roles, as the older siblings to central character of the series, youngest child, Kenny.

    Overview: Meghan is selected as the valedictorian, but she doesn't want to give the speech; Mitch is arrested for suspicion of drunk-driving but it's understood later that he has health problems, mainly caused by stress and Amy, who came to the crisis center for help, as she is suspected of having AIDS. Kenny is dumped by Kimberly and rebounds with Taylor. He later becomes suspicious about Taylor, as he thinks she is using him for cheating in a final. At the end, we learn that Taylor was not using Kenny; Neither Meghan nor Clay have Aids. Meghan decides to study abroad in Spain and give the speech, as she explains these in a family dinner; During the dinner Mitch's nose starts bleeding and he collapses to the ground.
