The House at Christianshavn (Season 6)

The series follows the residents of an apartment building on Copenhagen's Christianshavn, as they go about their daily lives and challenges. There is Olsen, a mover with an old fashion view of the world, Clausen who runs the local pet shop, Egon the career focused assistant, their wives who work hard to keep their spouses lives together, the young couple Tue and Rikke who recently moved in, the hard working caretaker Meyer, who never puts in to much effort, and of course Emma, the innkeeper of Rottehullet, where all the important decisions are made while running up the bar tab. The series was produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio TV station between the years 1970-77. The series' first director was Ebbe Langberg, then Erik Balling and Tom Hedegaard respectively. The series was conceived by an author team of well-known Danish authors such Leif Panduro, Benny Andersen, and Lise Nørgaard.

    Overview: Larsen, thanks to the help of Mr. Olsen and Mrs. Olsen, Clausen, and Tue, narrowly avoids being arrested after a failed attempt of breaking into a safe at an insurance company. To pay them back for their help, he promises to turn over a new leaf, but that may be easier said than done.

    Overview: With the wives away on holiday, Mr. Olsen, Mr. Clausen, and Egon are having fun until Meyer noticed that Larsen keeps coming late at night at leaving again in the early morning hours, just like back in the days when Larsen made his living as a thief. The men gather at Rollethullet to to discuss the situation and what can be done. There, using cards, Emma divines and foretells that all the men will meet blonde women.

    Overview: The wives have just come home from their holiday to Mallorca, they and their husbands decide to celebrate being reunited with a fun night out of town. The next morning, the wives get together and agree that being drunk and having drunk husbands isn't that much fun. They decide to put the men on a diet consisting of salads and tulips.
