本片根据Amy Tan的同名小说《Sagwa》改编的系列动画片。以中国暹罗猫的形象刻画出一只精灵古怪的小猫仔——SAGWA。在古代中国博大精深的文化中，当SAGWA一次次的陷入各种风险时，它便开始了它的探险历程。在漫无边际的幻想中，它惊奇的发现世界的多面性，发现原来在这个世界上自己是那么渺小。
