《勇者王GAOGAIGAR》是日本Sunrise动画公司制作的原创SF机器人动画系列——“勇者系列”的第八部TV动画作品，于1997年2月1日－1998年1月31日在日本的朝日电视台和名古屋电视台首播，全49集。由SUNRISE动画公司内部Studio 7制作。除了电视动画以外，本作还在2000至2003年推出了OVA《勇者王GAOGAIGAR Final》。之后又把OVA的内容重新剪辑成电视播放版《勇者王GAOGAIGAR FINAL GRAND GLORIOUS GATHERING》，于2005年在东京电视台播出，和小说版《狮子の女王〈リオン・レーヌ〉 - 勇者王ガオガイガー2005》。
