從10月2日開始播放的特攝電視劇《cutie─honey THE LIVE（甜心戰士）》(每週二深夜1點，TV東京廣播)，制作發表會在9月4日於東京都內舉行。女主角哈妮（honey）扮演者——雜志模特原幹惠(20歲)和原作者漫畫家永井豪等人參加了會見。原幹惠在電視劇中每一回都有不同的裝扮，女僕和護士等各種各樣的服裝將陸續登場，對此她表示“強烈可愛又能變身的哈妮是女孩子的憧憬，此次的拍攝工作讓我很快樂，請關注動作戲和角色扮演場面”。 《甜心戰士》，是1973年以漫畫和動畫片形式問世的動作喜劇，講述變身女英雄如月哈妮，對抗秘密組織“帕薩·克羅”的故事。哈妮的變身口號“哈妮閃光！”與能夠有七次變化的性感制服誘惑，加上精彩的動作場面在當時引起了熱潮。2004年由《新世紀福音戰士》的庵野秀明監督，佐藤江梨子(25歲)主演的寫實電影版也備受好評。 電視劇版將有原創角色登場，水崎綾女（18歲）飾演MIKI小姐，竹田真戀人（16歲）飾演YUKI小姐，這兩位變身女英雄，將和哈妮一起與士多啤梨戰鬥。原作者永井豪表示“哈妮是以完美女性作為目標誕生的形象。能夠讓3位漂亮小姐扮演這樣的事，我都沒有想到”。 總監督是電影《太妹刑警 代號“麻宮佐紀”》和電視劇《牙狼》的動作監督橫山誠先生，系列構成是《假面超人阿基多》和動畫片《XX筆記》的井上敏樹先生，人物設計則是《機動警察》、《翼神傳說》的出淵裕先生。
