The League of Gentlemen ist eine britische Comedy-Fernsehserie, die 1999 auf BBC Two uraufgeführt wurde. Die Show spielt in Royston Vasey, einer fiktiven Stadt in Nordengland, die auf Bacup, Lancashire, basiert. Es folgt dem Leben von Dutzenden bizarrer Stadtbewohner, von denen die meisten von drei der vier Autoren der Serie gespielt werden – Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton und Reece Shearsmith – die zusammen mit Jeremy Dyson 1995 die Comedy-Truppe League of Gentlemen gründeten.
