Hercules (Staffel 2)

In einer Zeit der Mythen und Märchen, als die Götter mit dem Leben der Menschen spielten, stellt sich einer den Mächtigen entgegen: Hercules, Sohn des Gottes Zeus und der sterblichen Alkmene. Der Halbgott ist von seinem ersten Schrei an der betrogenen Zeusgattin Hera ein Dorn im Auge. Weil sie Hercules, der stärker ist als alle seine Feinde, nicht persönlich treffen kann, vernichtet sie die Menschen, die er liebt: Mit einem Feuerball tötet die zornige Göttin Hercules’ Frau und Kinder. Außer sich vor Wut und Trauer schwört der Kampfkoloss Rache. Doch sein Freund Iolaus (Michael Hurst) bringt ihn von dem Rachefeldzug ab. Hercules besinnt sich auf seine Mission: Die Menschen vor der Willkür der Götter zu schützen.
