We Bare Bears – Bären wie wir‘ handelt von den drei Bärenbrüdern Grizz, Panda und Eisbär, die versuchen, in der menschlichen Gesellschaft Anschluss zu finden und Freunde zu gewinnen. Immer wieder wird das Trio mit den Herausforderungen der digitalen Welt und der modernen Gesellschaft konfrontiert. Dabei sind die Bären selbst begeisterte Social Media-Nutzer, Helden des Selfies und Fans von Food Trucks und Frozen Yogurt. Am liebsten würden sie als Internet-Stars groß rauskommen. Braunbär Grizz führt das Bärengespann mit unschlagbarem Optimismus an. Oftmals manövriert er sich und seine Brüder damit allerdings mitten ins Desaster. Panda ist überzeugter Vegetarier, der das Online-Dating für sich entdeckt. Eisbär hingegen ist kein Bär der vielen Worte und agiert lieber aus dem Hintergrund.
