Идея реалити-шоу состоит в том, что несколько людей, называемых «хозяевами» или «гостями», живут вместе в специально созданном большом доме. За участниками постоянно следят телекамеры установленные в доме, а также личные микрофоны, обязательные для ношения во время съемок. Участникам позволено иметь сексуальные контакты во время шоу. Каждый сезон длится не менее трех месяцев. Минимальное число участников проекта — 10.
